Terms of Use

These terms cover the TrackStar app and this website (together, “TrackStar”), operated by Peter Sanderson in New York. By using TrackStar you agree to them. If you do not agree, please do not use TrackStar.

1. What TrackStar is

TrackStar is an information service. It gathers concert dates, release dates and ticket links from third parties and shows them on a timeline. It is currently offered free of charge as a private beta, and it may change, pause or end at any time.

2. Tickets are sold by others

TrackStar does not sell tickets, process payments or hold inventory. Ticket links open the seller’s own site or app, and any purchase is between you and that seller under its terms. Check the event details and price on the seller’s page before you buy.

3. Third-party information

Dates, times, venues, prices and availability come from ticket sellers and public music databases. They can change without notice and may be incomplete or wrong. TrackStar does not guarantee their accuracy and is not responsible for a cancelled show, a changed date or a price that differs from what the app displayed.

4. Affiliate links

Some ticket links are affiliate links. TrackStar may earn a commission when you buy through them, at no extra cost to you. See the affiliate disclosure.

5. No affiliation

Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, StubHub, Vivid Seats, TickPick, Gametime, AXS, DICE, Spotify, Apple Music and the other names mentioned in TrackStar are trademarks of their owners. TrackStar is independent and is not affiliated with, sponsored by or endorsed by any of them.

6. Your account

You need to be at least 13 to use TrackStar. Keep your sign-in method secure and let us know if you think someone else is using your account. You can delete your account at any time from Settings.

7. Acceptable use

Do not scrape, copy or redistribute TrackStar’s data, interfere with the service or its servers, or use TrackStar for anything unlawful.

8. No warranties

TrackStar is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrackStar and its operator are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from your use of TrackStar or from a purchase made on a third-party site. Total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid to use TrackStar, which is currently nothing.

10. Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in New York County, New York.
