Is TrackStar free?
Yes. There is no subscription and nothing to buy in the app.
Which cities does it cover?
New York City first. Every user gets NYC right now, with a travel distance you set from 5 to 100 miles. Other cities will come later.
Do you sell tickets?
No. TrackStar links to official sellers and resale marketplaces. You buy on their site or app, and their terms apply to the purchase.
Does it cost more to buy through TrackStar?
No. You pay the seller’s normal price.
TrackStar may earn a commission from the seller when you buy through a link. That comes out of the seller’s side, not yours. Read the affiliate disclosure.
Where do prices and dates come from?
From the sellers and public music databases: Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, Apple Music, MusicBrainz, Wikidata, Spotify and Deezer.
Prices change constantly, so treat a starting price as a guide and check the seller’s page before you buy. Dates and venues can change too, and TrackStar shows what the source reports.
Which ticket sites are in the comparison list?
Sellers currently in the list include Ticketmaster, SeatGeek, AXS, DICE, StubHub and Vivid Seats. Sellers with an exact event page for the show are listed first and marked This show; the rest open a search for the artist on that site.
Do I need Spotify?
No. Spotify import is optional; search and suggestions work without it.
If you do connect it, TrackStar reads only the artists you follow and the artists you play most. It cannot see playlists or listening history, and you can disconnect in Settings.
Does TrackStar use my location?
No. It never asks for location permission. Distance is measured from New York City using the travel distance you choose.
Is there an Android version?
Not yet. TrackStar is an iPhone app.
How do I get the app?
It is in private beta on TestFlight as TrackStar NYC and is not on the App Store yet. Contact us if you would like to try it.
How do I delete my account and data?
Open Settings and tap Delete account. That permanently removes your account, city, followed artists and push tokens. You can also ask by email; see the Contact page. Details are in the privacy policy.
