Follow artists three ways, and venues too.
Following is what builds your timeline, so there are three ways in.
- Search. Type a name, tap Follow.
- Import from Spotify. Brings over the artists you follow and the ones you play most. Optional, and you can disconnect in Settings at any time.
- Suggestions. The For you tab shows artists that fans of yours also listen to, with the reason next to each one.
- Venues. Follow Brooklyn Steel, Bowery Ballroom or any room, and every show there appears on your timeline whether or not you follow the artist.
One timeline, twelve months out.
Shows in amber, releases in blue, grouped by month. A strip across the top shows how busy each month is, and a Next Up card keeps the next few dates in view.
- Timeline or list. Timeline view for a quick scan of the year. List view for the detail on each date.
- Your travel distance. Set anywhere from 5 to 100 miles from New York City. Shows further out stay off the timeline.
- Filters. Everything, shows only or releases only.
Who’s playing New York in the next 60 days.
The Coming to town tab lists artists you would probably like who have a New York show in the next 60 days, based on who you already follow. Follow one and the show is on your timeline immediately.
Suggestions come from the same similar-artist data as the For you tab, filtered to artists with a show announced near you. Nothing is sponsored and there are no paid placements.
Show details, then a side-by-side list of sellers.
Tap any show to open its detail sheet: date, time, venue, distance from the city and the tour, then a ticket button that opens the seller’s event page.
Below that, Compare tickets lists sellers side by side. Sellers with an exact event page for the show are listed first and marked This show. The rest open a search for the artist on that seller’s site. Where a seller provides a starting price, it appears next to the name.
Tapping a seller opens that seller’s own site or app. TrackStar does not sell tickets, does not take payment and does not set prices. You pay the seller’s normal price.
- Add to calendar. Apple Calendar or Google Calendar, one tap.
- Share with the ticket link. Send the show to a friend with the seller link included.
- Artist and venue pages. Every other show from that artist or at that venue is one tap away.

Releases, including the ones announced early.
Singles and albums from every artist you follow sit on the same timeline as shows, in blue. Announced albums appear on their release date before they are out, so you can plan around them.
Each release opens a sheet with a listen link, calendar buttons and share.
Alerts and the Thursday digest.
Turn on alerts and TrackStar sends a push when an artist you follow announces a show near you or a new release. The weekly digest is one notification on Thursday morning with the week ahead. Each has its own switch in Settings.
Sign in with Apple. Nothing else to set up.
An account exists so your artists and travel distance follow you between devices. That is the whole job.
Handled by iOS on your phone. TrackStar never sees biometric data.
TrackStar never asks for it. You choose a travel distance from the city instead.
